Is there a monthly fee?

No, there are no monthly fees. You only pay a small transaction fee when you accept a payment.

Do I need a bank account?

No. myPOS provides a free business e-money account along with a myPOS Business Mastercard. You can use it to withdraw cash, shop online, or manage expenses.

Is myPOS secure?

Yes, myPOS complies with the highest payment industry standards including PCI DSS. All transactions are encrypted and secure.

Can I issue refunds through myPOS?

What is the myPOS Business Account?

The myPOS Business Account is a multi-currency e-money account that’s automatically created when you register your myPOS device. It allows you to receive payments instantly, manage finances, and access funds using a business Mastercard.

Is it a bank account?

No, it’s not a traditional bank account. It’s an e-money account provided by myPOS, regulated under the EU’s financial framework. It functions similarly to a business bank account but is designed specifically for instant settlements and digital use.

What currencies are supported?

The myPOS Business Account supports multiple currencies including EUR, GBP, CHF, RON, BGN, and HRK. You can open and manage sub-accounts in different currencies from one dashboard.

How do I access my account?

You can log in via:

  • The myPOS web portal (browser)
  • The myPOS mobile app (iOS & Android)

Both options allow you to track sales, view balances, make transfers, and issue refunds.

Is the account free?

Yes, there are no setup fees or monthly maintenance charges for the business account. You only pay transaction fees when receiving payments or making transfers.

How does it differ from a regular bank card?

Unlike a credit or debit card from a traditional bank, the myPOS Business Mastercard is prepaid and directly connected to your myPOS e-money account. You can only spend what’s available in your account, helping with better expense control.

A myPOS Terminal is a mobile Point-of-Sale (POS) device that allows businesses to accept debit/credit cards, contactless payments, and digital wallets anywhere, anytime. It includes a free SIM card with data, making it 100% portable.
